Hello,
If you are an Orange Pay and u Go or pay contract customer you can send text messages from the Orange website for free.
If Orange is your mobile phone provider just go to the website: https://www.orange.net and register for a free account. It lets you send 30 messages a month.
This may have been posted previously but its really cool since on Pay as u go texts are now 15p each!!

Yes its cool, I use it all the time, the person receiving the message knows it's coming from your mobile number, but its worth putting your name at the end of the message, cos it comes from an Orange number like: 55082."Not setting your clock forward and arriving an hour late to work is no excuse" The Boss' words - not mine!0

I dont know if anyone can help... Ive tried Orange Customer Service and they said "they didnt know"...
I get 75 texts free per month on my Orange contract. Can I click to send from my number on the website and then have these texts sent as part of my 75 free texts? On the website it just says "charged and standard contract rates".

Can the person who you send the text to reply as normal. A friend of mine used a similar service and I could never next back with the reply button on my phone. I had to search for their name in the address book. ??

One thing, something in back of my mind recalls that if the recepient is on PAYG, they are charged to receive a text sent from the website - is this right or have they changed it now?Integrity is a dying art!:p0

If you are on PAYG with Orange, ask their customer service to add on their 300 free texts package.
It's free, and each time you top-up £10 credit, you get 300 texts and £4 worth of Orange World internet access for the following month.0 -

I have a bundle where I get 3000 free evening and weekend texts for £15 top-up a month and also free evening on-net calls for £10 a month - the two offers run concurrently, so the £15 top up is sufficient to receive both. I also received a text offer to access Orange World for 2 evenings a month FREE, but I've no idea how?

Really? I hadn't heard this before. I access the service using an Orange PAYGo number I no longer use and I don't even think I've got any credit on the sim any more. Will they somehow be charging me for this? Anyone know?
