Boots Essentials Cucumber Wipes Glitch

I've done a search and can't find a post about this one apart from it happening back in February

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/41241674#Comment_41241674

These are normally £2.03 a packet but are on 3 for £3 at the moment. The first three packs go through the till at £3 and the second three go through at £0.97. So six packs worth £12.18 for £3.97 and they're great wipes as well.

Thanks to the great assistant in Boots for telling me about this one. Apparently it's something to do with the various 3 for 2 offers on at the moment. Have just tested it online and it doesn't seem to work there and not sure if it'll work on the fragrance free ones in the same range.

Thanks for this, wipes are on my list for today. Will try it but the staff in my local boots aren't the nicest and really miserable so hope they don't make a fuss about it or anything!

Thanks op - I asked the sales assist if they were on offer as there was no 3 for £3 sign. She said yes, looked at bit puzzled when it only came to £3.97!

Thanks OP! Just picked up 6 in Stockton on Tees, the lady who served me was the equivalent of a Tesco Trout though... She wanted to reverse the sale, but I told her a member of staff in another store, had advised me of this offer yesterday.

As I walked away, she said to her colleague "So who do I report this "problem" too???"
