Hi sent my letters to link financial 2 weeks ago. Last week got a reply stating we are taking a commercial view not to persue this account. :-)

Maybe I'm taking the Mick buy maybe bit of compensation for the trouble that they hounded me. Do you think I would get anything?

Think that may be pushing your luck LOL

The danger is, they sell the debt to another bunch of shysters who then start the pursuit all over again......at least you now have a letter to fire off :rotfl:

I doubt you'll get anything in compensation. You didn't really lose out financially in them sending you letters, other than the price of a stamp.

And tbh the price of a stamp is a fair payment in return for them stopping any collection activity lol

All I would say is keep their letter in case any other shysters turn up wanting money for the same debt. It's not uncommon for SB debts to be passed on. If anyone does start chasing you can send them a copy of links letter, and a photocopy of your butt cheeks.

Just don't get caught photocopying your behind lol!
