Hi I need to get a new tyre for my car and was looking for the advice on the best place to go to. Don't want to be taken the hand out of just because I am female:)
I am in the Newtownabbey area.
Thanks

Shame you're not in Bangor as I'd 100% recommend Armstrong Beattie. I've used them since I moved out of Belfast and have never had a problem. Quick, efficient and never made to feel like I'm being taken advantage of or spoken down to as I'm female. Kwik Fit on the other hand make my skin crawl and I'd only use them as a last resort.0

I use Gilnahirk Tyres, they have never let me down, always competitive. William or Stuart, the two boys are really helpful.0

not sure if it works in your area but blackcircles are excellent, google them and there will also be voucher codes0

I can second Gilnahirk tyres, pity it's a bit out of your wayNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

I live in Newtownabbey & go to Bangor regularly - it's only a 20min drive.
I wouldn't go to Magowans - i took a puncture to them and they told me i needed a new tyre (£100 for my 4x4), so i went to a guy in Ballygowan who was recommended (can't remember the name, works from his own property out in the sticks), but he fixed the puncture for a fiver!!0 -
