PPI on a loan help required

I took out a loan in 2007 with PPI, I phoned 2 years ago to cancel the PPI and was told this was not possible as the PPI was payed up front and had already been completed. Made redundant in October, and claimed on PPI no problems each month as I sent required evidence for payment. However CJP no longer supply a form confirming my status from 1st April so I was asked to send a copy of my bank statement to verify my JSA payments.
No reply from insurer so I phoned, was told there was a query on 2 payments to my account, one was my mortgage protection payment and another a transfer from savings. Gave them this information and was told payment had been passed. Still no payment received and no paperwork to fill in for my next claim evidence. I received a phone call yesterday from Avertis (I think) to say they wanted to come and see me to discuss my claim, would not tell me what questions they wanted answered. Phoned my insurance provider who said it was just routine after the length of the claim. I have now paid £2550 in PP1 for a £10000 loan, my last insurance payment was made to me to cover up to 01/03/11 although I have had to pay Aprils and Mays payments. Can anyone help, not sleeping for worry but I'v done nothing wrong, thought the insurance would give me piece of mind but the opposite.

I reckon it will be to check if you are still not working..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
