The FSA gives guidance in its handbook under SYSC 6.3.7G :
"A firm should ensure that the systems and controls include: ......(5) appropriate measures to ensure that procedures for identification of new customers do not unreasonably deny access to its services to potential customers who cannot reasonably be expected to produce detailed evidence of identity."
Although you are not a new customer, that is the point at which you can argue your complaint, I think0 -
Still no furthur on. AM waiting on a callback from complaint team -4 hour wait! Have now involved the financial ombudsman before i combust with anger
