Grey/Pink colour theme crisis!

Hey guys,

Fab forum - very helpful!

We are in the final stages of booking for a June 2011 wedding (eek - a whole year earlier than planned!!)

We finally decided on a grey/pale pink colour theme. Think it'll have to be thrown in with some silver for ease of finding stuff.

Currently struggling finding an adult grey long bridesmaid dress. I was thinking a chiffon sort, but can't find one! Resorted to putting the child bridesmaid in pale pink, as it's much easier.

Few questions that I think will help us help you.................

Have you got the childs dress yet? If so, do you have a pic you could post so that we can try & tie it in? Is it just the one adult dress you are looking for? What size do you need it in? Would you consider silvery-grey? What budget do we have to find something in?

ETA: Just seen it's described as lavender anyway, - sorry, looked grey to me!

Hi,

Not bought the childs dress yet, but she will be 11, so I was thinking a pale pink strappy dress, and I'll buy a grey sash to go round it. My plan was then to buy a grey dress for the adult (just one, size 12) and put a pale pink sash round.

Do you think that will tie in?

Had a quick scout but couldn't see anything that didn't look too 'office, night out'. Have you tried your local bridal shops - sometimes they have decent sale rails...

If none of the other brides pull through - dress makers, ebay, preloved. I'll keep an eye out though

Have you tried Dessy or Alfred Angelo? Both their websites let you select grey and chiffon to see all the styles.
