Morning all - I did geet up at 5 am and we did get to the car boot for 6 am. After a cuppa, Mr 3Dogs started setting out his stall, but said to me that I might as well get myself home and come back down later, so, quick as a flash, I took him up on his offer ;) Got home 10 minutes ago and having a second light breakfast of cheese and crrispbread , and, of course, a cuppa :D

Bonnie got on the bed late last night, up against Mr 3Dogs' feet and stayed there al night - never budged. so unlike her, these last two nights, as she normally stays in the living room in her basket, and goes for a wee a couple of times during the night. Also, sitting on our laps is very unlike her. Seems to want to be close. she is just standing in the garden at the moment :(

So, the story of my trip to Tatco yesterday :D I 'noticed' an out of date label on a twin pack of BT cordless phones, marked 'Better than half price' from £89.99 down to £39.99, and checked them on the scanner in store to find they were coming up as £89.99. I added them to my trolly, as I did a shop meaning to use a Morries £10 of £60. My total at the till came to £130, after multibuys £126, after Morries and other coupons, meant £108 to pay. Took shopping outside to van, went back in with receipt and phones, checked label again and went to CS desk, who checked with a supervisor. After checking the label on the shelf and that barcode was identical, she noticed that out of date offer which was running up to 11th Sept so was well out of date ;) Rang someone up to notify someone, asked cashier to do refund, telling me that I would get double the difference back as it was not my fault that they had out of date label out, and cashier was amazed at amount till said to refund to me, so checked with supervisor and upstairs again. she was given the goahead, no problems, and charged £100 back to my debit card :D:D So I got a twin phone for nothing plus £36 of shopping, which included yoghurts and Quality Street using price drop leaflet coupons, for £8 :D:D

I have seen things like this before but never had enough on my debit card to take advantage of them - this time I did coz my outstanding Incap Benefit had gone into my bank that morning, so I am glad I took advantage this time. Just have to wait for refund to hit my bank account tomorrow or Tuesday before I get the actual money back, but I am well pleased with myself

P.S. we did need a new phone anyway ;)

Susan, fantastic news on the phone and I hope Bonnie isn't too distressed today.

My sugars weren't good last night. I had a few nightmares and a hypo. Shopping is always hard work in hot weather.

It is almost sunny outside. A bit nippy but it will become much better later. I am planning to do my ironing outside in the sunshine. That way i will enjoy it more. :D:D:D:D

Hooray for weekends. I have closed my Facebook account i get upset sometimes as everyone seems to have such exciting lives and i feel like a failure. If i dont have to see it i wont stress and feel inadequate. Anyway shurrup SW as it is a beautiful day outside. Off to get me some diet coke and iron away!!!!!:j:j

Hiya Kit - sorry to hear about the sugars problem last night hun - hope you are feeling better today :A

Bonnie had a 10 minute yap after yap in garden and then went and curled up into a tiny ball on our bed, and is still there so I will leave the bedroom door open when I go out again soon

Good luck with the ironing petal - the weather is certainly glorious so we must make the most of it, though they reckon we still have more to come, which is grrrrrreat :j :j
