icebox all defrosted and everything put back :D

SW, your advice sounds fine. Ignorance is the best tool. Ignore and stay out of the way.

Starting to wonder if I am becoming a bully at work. This woman really gets on my nerves, I choose to ignore her. don't talk to her about personal stuff anymore and try to not listen to her going on about her personal stuff, so I don't have to get involved. She has picked up on all this and keeps asking my colleagues why I don't talk to her anymore.

She is driving me up the wall with her attitude. So my theory, keep quiet, head down and do my work.

yesterday I was prepping work for today, and trying to leave on time to catch bus and she came in and put paperwork over my paperwork, so I picked it up and thrust it to one side and carried on with what I was doing. I didn't have time to stop and I still missed my bus because of the interruption.

but maybe I should have just told her I didn't have time to listen and to leave it.

what she has been doing affects my job and I didn't know she was doing it. It would be helpful to me knowing this information, but she was trying to cover her back, saying " but I have been doing this report and sending to x, y, z". Fine but I didn't know, no point telling me now, have already spoken to the Manager and reported it to the correct person.

It is nothing to do with her - it is one of our learners. But it is stuff like this I do not need when I am trying to go home.

I don't know. maybe I should just resign.
  • Nooooo. Like me you can't, we need the money. You are not a bully at all. You need to find someway of letting her know what she is doing is affecting your work. Can someone chat to her?

no, our manager dislikes her and the rest of the people i work with complain about her attitude.

I was on the phone to an assessor and was asking if she had spoken to him - now I sit in an office, and she sits outside, a little distance away. I can hear her shouting to me, "I have spoken to him". I deliberately ignored her, thinking how rude, you are shouting across the office, and this is a conversation between me and him.

I don't sit intruding on her conversations to sky, british gas, tv licence and home....

Well I am all wired up with a quite large battery pack strapped around my waist - gonna be fun trying to sleep with that on tonight  I go back at 9.30 am tomorrow to get it taken off, but I think I will be well fed up with it by then, and my skin is already itching with the micropore tape holding the 3 electro pads and the excess wire  Also, the nurse who put it on said that she didn't think it would be of any value as they use it normally on people with daily symptoms :(:(

Just had something to eat and I am going out as soon as I drink my cuppa, to take Linda for her shopping

Sorry Kit, but don't have time to look at SA's thread

Sorry about work Aesop but as Kit said, you need the job so grit your teeth and ignore her

I'm trying. I think I may just have to talk to her privately and politely tell her that I find things she says and does uncomfortable. maybe that will clear the air a little.

hmmm can you get wide calf fitting in hunters?
  • Aw Beanie :( I have Hunters 'tall' wellies and they are really slim fitting. They really do suction to my calves. I really struggle to get them off. I have to pull and pull and I'm fit physically.

I'll look to see if they do Hunters Wide fittings but I think, going from my hunters, that their wide fit won't be as generous as other wide fittings. :/
