Suffering dementia must be an extremely frightening experience for the patient. My parents' neighbour suffered with it and after her husband died, she went down hill rapidly. In the end they had to trick her into going into a care home before she ended-up killing herself.
People who care for dementia sufferers deserve a medal, they are absolute heroes.

SW, so you think my thread is cathartic. Nice to know what I write makes you poop yourself!!!.

Hard day but survived it :)

I wouldn't worry about rats - they're more scared of you than you are of them.

the rats we had coming into our old flat were definitely not scared of us!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

not caught mouse as we don't have mousetraps. DH can't find them in the shed and thinks we may have thrown them out last year. so need to buy new ones.

Oh Froogs, does it have to be a pedigree dog? As well as them being very very expensive, there are so many lovely doggies in rescue centres looking for a new family. Perfectly behaved doggies can be found there and they do get pups too

I was thinking that too HL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi 3Dogs :) We've been looking at Dogs Trust but they all look so vicious. (sorry but they do) I've not had a dog before, even though DH has when he was growing up, even early 20's but I haven't. I need to know it will be ok with the girls too. I need to feel a bond with it, train it myself and it's my dream dog. It's our present to ourselves for all that has gone wrong lately.

I know there's so many in the rescue centre dogs that need homes but I have to be comfortable with the lil thing. I feel like I have to learn and bond with it from scratch. I hope you understand :(

Hypothetical shopping? I thought I was the only one that did that lol and ebay shopping basket emptying. Done that Loads of times. I never impulse at ending soonest, always watch then when the feeling passes choose not to. Fab strategy.... doesn't work on scarves though :rotfl:
