Hi, not sure if this is in the right place as you do have to spend 5 pounds or over but superdrug have got an offer on at the moment where you get a free mobile phone (I think its a motorola c975 but will double check tomorrow as I'm going to pick it up). If you were going to buy something in Superdrug anyway it would be useful... basically I went in last Tuesday, noticed the deal, the lady has reserved me one and put it by as she said they are going fast and I'm popping down there to pick it up tomorrow. Apparently the offer was also printed in the Sun newspaper. Hope this is helpful to someone, it certainly is to us! Should also mention its on the network 3.
I nearly bought a cheap offer phone on network 3 then I read the small print.
I think its the only PAYGO provider where unused credits expire after 30 days which means its only good for heavy users.
If your a low user like me then get the cheap or free phone and get it unlocked (can cost as little as a fiver)
Theres plenty of free sims available with other providers. See the free sim forum.

    That's a shame.

    :(

They only have the ZTE F866 at our local Superdrug. Was going to get one to give to our 8 year old NOT for phone calls but just to use our free o2 sims to download games for her.

If you port a number from one of your free sims you get a £10 credit on your
3G phone. Does anyone know if there is a time limit on the £10 you get for that?

I may get one for our 8 year old anyway as she loves to use the camera on mine so if she uses it without any credit (as I willl use that) she will still have a novelty item to play with.

    :)

Picked my phone up yesterday - big thanks to OP. :j
just a little tip to look out for - all these phones are refurbished, not new so check that all the correct bits are included in the box. We were missing the memory card and the headset ! but no problems when I took it back to the shop, although the SA had to open 3 boxes before finding any memory !
I was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......
