Do any of you have any horror stories to tell about your experiences with employment agencies? Yet another one has happened to me. The usual business: time wasted, lied to about the company insisting on a solid work history (when they really don't), etc.
Please share you emp agency horror stories here.
You have my sympathies, whatever your story.
These useless organisations should be banned.

If you know so much about what the company do and don't insist upon, then why don't you apply directly and see if they will employ you?
Considering the high levels of unemployment, it's a buyers market as it were. Companies can afford to be choosy so if your employment history is patchy, then it will very obviously remove you from some shortlisting. I can't really see how that is the Employment Agency's fault."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." But they don't to tell you an arrant lie, though, do they?If you know so much about what the company do and don't insist upon, then why don't you apply directly and see if they will employ you?
