My advice to anyone receiving payments from British Gas is to make sure you phone in your readings because they are weeks behind with e-mails.0

I just phoned BG chasing my FIT application (sent by email)- it seems they are only now looking at emails received at beginning of April......
I wish I'd chosen someone else now! Has anyone changed from one supplier to another? Obviously I'll have to wait until it has been processed now but maybe I should change to someone a bit more efficient. The fact they only pay by chq is a bit of concern too as my nearest bank branch is 25 miles away as they keep closing all of the smaller branches (but thats another story...)!1 -
I'm going to switch from BG to E.ON following Keith's recommendation.I'm also curious how easy the transfer will be.0
