Nationwide - always slow?

Application has been with them for nearly 7 weeks, they had one minor issue that we had resolved with them about 3weeks ago, whats taking so long?

No they are not - usually pretty slick on my recent experience (2 cases with them currently).

My broker has complained at unacceptable timescale and they said they would escalate it0

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but for me I went from application to offer with nationwide in 2 weeks from memory.
Not counting my chickens too soon though.. will only be really happy when the purchase is complete... hopefully end of this month!0
