anyone know the cheapest place to buy diesel oil for my old diesel car?
nothing expensive as it is very old and as I'm a true moneysaver I would like some cheapish stuff. I used to get it at Tesco but it is now £7.97 thought this dear but maybe not.
Ani ideas you clever lot?
thanks

I get mine from Vauxhall- they do four 5ltr pack for about £13-14. Can't remember exactly as I bought over a year ago and still have two left.0

I use Asda's own brand for my car, used it for 2 years or more and no problem at all, sorry don't know the price off the top of my head, but a lot less than Tesco price you've mentioned, hope this helps.Kat :money:0 -
Asda sell Texaco diesel oil for £7.99 which is a bargain.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate

All Season Outdoor Weekend Markets! Never fail,
If there's one thing thery're good for It's Oil!
If you are using an older diesel Engine don't forget you should be using Biodiesel it's only 75p per litre!
Some newer engines don't like it and need the heater plugs changed before winter use but older engines love it,
And it makes the engine quieter!0 -
Make sure you buy the right spec oil.
Some cheap rubbish is no use for example on vw pd engines, thats around £40 for 5 litres(you pay for extra mpg and extended oil drains somehow!!)0 -
