Could mortgage fall through due to disclosure in insurance quote?

Ok, I'm probably being paranoid but basically when we made our full mortgage application the advisor really tried to push for all sorts of things, MPPI, death and critical illness cover, life insurance etc.
During the life insurance quote (which we initially decided to go for) you obviously have to answer some pretty detailed questions. There was one question in particular relating to past experience I answered honestly and thus I was rejected for life insurance.
The advisor said nobody had ever admitted to it before and was unsure what would happen. She then said she would phone the insurance people and try and argue my case. They basically said to her that I can reapply in a few months and they will send me a full questionnaire and reassess me then.
My concern is, due to the nature of this admission and thus being rejected for 3rd party insurance, will it effect our mortgage application? Or, because it was a third party add on, it won't be seen by the lender.
We're in that stage of the process where everything that could go wrong, is going wrong in my head. I should be able to reapply in a couple of months and am really worried I've mucked it up for me and my partner.:(
Thanks!

It's nothing to do with the mortgage app at all, don't worry0

Phew! Thank you! If my credit rating wasn't bad enough (Fixed now) I though the rest of my youth and inexperience was going to sabotage me!
Thanks for putting my mind at ease0
