Options
Hi All
Can anybody help??
Im in a bit of a sticky situation credit wise and need a loan for 3000 sharpish, I went through a broker firm called UCC recommended by Money supermarket and the only firm who accepted me were called Tenant Loans based in bournemouth. They Guarantee me accepted but want £49.95 admin fee before telling me which company with or any detail of the loan, repayments etc. Also posts on sites i've dones research with on the internet havent given excellent feedback, saying they have paid the money only to be told they needed a guarantor for the loan, and siven sky high interest rates etc. this loan is a short term solution for me but i'm pretty desperate, any one have any advice, feedback on this company or others that could help me with my rubbishy bad credit please????
Thanx

tbh mate, Id avoid any firm that wants an "admin" fee upfront.
there have been countless people on here who state that the admin fee was taken & the loan refused.
Can I ask what you need 3k for so urgently? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Almost certainly a rip off I'm afraid. You pay your money then get turned down on a final check or you find it was just for guaranteeing to refer you to some other company, who turn you down anyway.
The best case scenario is that you would be offered a horrendour sub prime loan that you are better off without.

Its to do with catching up on a mortgage payment to prevent going to court, its not my mortgage, but something that affects me0

I'm sorry to say these people will not help you.
You talk about an impending court case. What for, repossession? If it is go straight to Citizens advice and talk to them. Have you (or whoever) tried coming to an arrangement to pay it off over time?
If you post on the debt free wannabe board AND the mortgage board giving more details another option may be worked out.

Borrowing £3000 at 20% APR to pay off a loan of 6 or 7% APR is probably not the wisest move in the MSE book.
As above, I would seek professional (free) advice asap..0 -
whos mortgage is it? Why on earth would you take a massive loan for someone elses debt? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
