Any of you lovely people out there able to help me find somewhere reasonably local that sells different Cheese Truckles to put together with some biccies in a hamper for my best pals crimbo? Would go up to House of Bruar but from my locale its about 1 and a half hours away so not really an option. Any help greatfully received. Over to you guys!!!!!

House f Bruar is lovely but sooooo expensive!! - Does your local Sainsbury, Tesco etc not have a good selection of small wrapped cheeses? Or is Cheese Truckles something different?

  • She likes all sorts of weird cheese and loves to try something different Tesco etc tend to do bog standard sort of cheese so looking for something a wee bit different. A truckle is just a fancy name for a wee wrapped round cheese, I just love the sound of that word- dunno why really!!! LOL

  • Will try Ian Mellis didn't know such a thing existed. Glasgow would be handy as I am only 11 miles from there.

  • Got my cheese a mixture of Asda and Tesco who both had got in cracking new selections. Got a wee basket from Au Naturel and filled it with boxes of crackers and oatcakes, pate, the cheese of course, a bottle of Baileys and some furry lilac slippers oh and some kettle chips. It looks great.
