Any of you lovely people out there able to help me find somewhere reasonably local that sells different Cheese Truckles to put together with some biccies in a hamper for my best pals crimbo? Would go up to House of Bruar but from my locale its about 1 and a half hours away so not really an option. Any help greatfully received. Over to you guys!!!!!

House f Bruar is lovely but sooooo expensive!! - Does your local Sainsbury, Tesco etc not have a good selection of small wrapped cheeses? Or is Cheese Truckles something different?No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

She likes all sorts of weird cheese and loves to try something different Tesco etc tend to do bog standard sort of cheese so looking for something a wee bit different. A truckle is just a fancy name for a wee wrapped round cheese, I just love the sound of that word- dunno why really!!! LOLThe victims we know so well

Asda have some gorgeous ones.,..or how about trying Ian Mellis the cheesemonger,,,one in Glasgow, one in Edinburgh.Avoid fruit and nuts .You are what you eat

Got my cheese a mixture of Asda and Tesco who both had got in cracking new selections. Got a wee basket from Au Naturel and filled it with boxes of crackers and oatcakes, pate, the cheese of course, a bottle of Baileys and some furry lilac slippers oh and some kettle chips. It looks great.The victims we know so well
