Mine always wants treats. he has had them.
So its back to the grind for the next 12 months. As for you could you split it, half to debts and half to a treat fund?Trying to shift that debt!0 -
yeah we could. But i've got the hump as i'd planned on putting it all on debt
! lol. We could do with a new dishwasher & microwave though
I've also got my eye on a new phone from this century and not the stone age
BUT i'd rather get rid of the debt. His pocket money has already gone from £40 a month (where mine STILL is) to £100........why can we not agree on anything pfft! xx

Because thats what keeps us on our toes lasses.
Men.
If it wasnt for them, we would be living in a world with no war.
However we would be bored to tears.
I could be wrong but like my husband who is on board with being debt free, hes a little less willing than me to make sacrifices. This can lead to the disgruntlements!
Bit of a developement today, exciting stuff, could make a film about it.
No cheque in the post mind.
But, I got a letter from a debt recovery firm. One was sent here, and the other to my other house.
Addressed to my ex husband at this address (hes never lived here might I add) I opened the one addressed to meand was appalled to find that one of my full and final settlements has been reopened, and sent on to a debt collection agency. They were threatening court, within 7 days on the clients instruction
Naturally, I have this in writing, that it was accepted and the file is closed with no money owing.
Quick as a flash I ring debt collection agency and fax over the proof we owe nothing.
However on speaking to them they said it cant be stopped until the client directs them otherwise. Ok I said, I can do without this stress, I want it stopped today. So I ring the client in question.
NO, they say we wont talk to you, we arent handling your account, we have passed it to a debt collection agency.
B@lls to that
So I have ALREADY rung the ombudsman.
A fantastic lady told me she would be happy to help with this.
She said, what do you want from "the client" I said I just want it to stop.
She said think about it, I will leave it blank.
So what should I ask for... a ferrari? What did she mean with her cloak and dagger type tone? Could I be in line for compo?
Could I ask for a multi lingual dog who lights up when its foggy?
I dont know. Ive had a little look and cant see anything similiar. I ensured I had the whole thing in writing and since then they have reimbursed me PPI, sending a cheque not putting it against the balance as it was stated nothing was owing on the account.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Lovely to see you dear. My husband is in the early plotting stages of possible NZ move, if not, South of France. Dont ask, hes no me when it comes to organisation, so I will have to get the bones out it and make the push as and when, and might need to call on your expertise.
No sign of the postie yet.
Razor sharp wit indeed.
My expertise?! I've pretty much blundered my way through our move - and I'm still incredibly nervous that we will end up over there with no money:eek::eek::eek::eek:.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
