  • They rang me yesterday ladies. However I did my big grocery shop - am updating figures shortly, and I just thought well, bugrit.

News from the mark is that I wont be getting any child support this month as there has been an error.

They have overpaid me since August.

So thats 6 months at 20 pounds a week they have overpaid me, (ex husbands other son now on case) thats around 24 weeks at 20 pounds, so 480 pounds.

No matter. I shall start to just use that money directly as additional debt payments and wont count it as income.

so we went shopping in Aldi and Tesco and spent 175.88 pounds which should be enough to last us a little while.

Out of the money for the next week - £25 pounds I need a sack of dog food - which is 8 pounds. So I will have a bit left for greenery and any stocking up I want to do, I would perhaps pop to home bargains and get some whiteners at some point.

Other than that my medication has upset my stomach. Husband is trying to cheer me up and has organised a sitter for tonight but whatever I eat is going straight through me, not sure I am going to be able to keep this ovary as not sure how much of the medication will actually get a chance to do anything! Also not sure I can actually go out but I think hes gone to so much trouble I owe it to him to give it a go. You never know the positive change might do me good.

Mother and father in law are on their night away we bought them for Christmas and their birthdays.

They are on Loch Lomond in a spa hotel. Sounds lovely.

Right I will update monthly shopping info and do internet banking and list a couple of ebays.

  • Hi ya hun,

How long do you have to take the tablets for :( doesn't sound good! I hope you enjoy your night out :) ... not great news about maintenance either, but at least if you aren't reliant on it it will just be a bonus for debt repayment if and when it does come through :)

  • Hiya Skint - oh heck - it's coming in ship loads to you isn't it. Things will get better. Can you take anything to compensate and help you keep food down/in?

Doc gave me anti sickness tablets when I was on really strong pain killers - maybe a thought?

Hope you pick up hun - stay focussed cos that's what will get you through.

  • Ooh Mit are you in the trossachs? I am often up in Glasgow. My gannys family were from that way on too!

Its a lovely area and they had an amazing time.

They stayed at the Cameron house Devere, it was marvellous.

Oh I am sick of my life, off for another 2 weeks and a ultrasound thursday and a procedure on Friday.

Ill check back in tommorrow as I am not at the Doctors for hours at a stretch tomorrow!

  • yes I am. Aren't I lucky ? Cameron house is a lovely hotel but a trifle expensive. Been in it a few times. I live about 5 minutes from it in the car. My next door neighbour drives one of the passenger boats up on the Loch and it is a great wee day out. We have gone on the night sails a few times and kids were allowed to steer the boat so they totally loved it.It is a gorgeous area we live in , I just wish I could afford to live a bit further into the country rather than the huge estate I am in. WHere was your granny from??
