Hi everyone,
I need some ideas of what I could put in party bags of a gruffalo-themed party. I don't really have any money so home made ideas are welcome. Does anyone know where you can get gruffalo stickers?
Thanks!

The other main character is the mouse? how about buying sugar mice or the milk choc ones you get in pic n mix. Or if really trying to budget make your own mice out of a thick peppermint cream mixt? Joke/fancy dress shops have stick on warts (the gruffalo had a wart on end of his nose) not sure how expensive they are thoughSealed Pot Challenge 2011 / no. 1205 £110 made]Sealed Pot Challenge 2012/no 1205 target £300Jan g/c 355.83/£450

Orange gobstoppers or similar and put a black dot on for his orange eyes.
Foam teeth sweets (if you can still get them) for his terrible teeth.
Purple jelly beans for the purple prickles all over his back.
Green smarties/apple bonbons (ebay)/green jellys/homemade peppermint drops for poisonous warts.
Jelly snakes ..... scrambled snake!
The following are pinched from The Grufallo Red Nose Day Book:
Warty cupcakes: cupcakes green icing and topped with a green jelly sweet.
Mouse cupcakes: cupcakes, icing + cocoa, chocolate buttons for ears, strawberry bootlaces for whiskers, chocolate drops for eyes and a pink/red sweet for a nose.
Purple prickle cupcakes.
Swirly snail sandwiches: roll sliced bread till thin spread with soft cheese and ham, roll bread into a log and then cut into four snail shaped pieces. Use a sausage or bit of cucumber (they suggest gherkin .... yuck) to create the body and add 2 chives for antenna.
Strawberry mice: cut strawberries in half, strawberry bootlaace tail, chocolate button ears, chocolate drop nose and dots of icing for eyes.
