LASER EYE £295 per eye!!

I am wanting to get laser eye surgery. If I take out the cash plan Martin has suggested for me in this article http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1087156515,79991 I am single so would use http://www.bhsf.co.uk/ it says for 6.50 a month I could get £100 off eye care including laser eye surgery. I could get one eye done one year and one the next year optimax offer £395 per eye so could get it for £295.

Hi, have you had your consultation yet? I had laser eye surgery last year and the actual cost of the surgery depends on your prescription. When it says FROM £395 it means that £395 is the cheapest that anyone could pay, not that everyone will pay that. My surgeon also quoted a price from £395 per eye but mine actually cost £699 for one eye and £799 for the other. And my prescription wasn't all that bad. If you haven't already I'd get their free consulation done first to see exactly how much it will cost. Then you can make plans to budget for it.
