40 + 55 + 40 + 30 + 20 + 15 + 20

would it be unreasonable to half thoes amount??

I am unemployed and on JSA (90 a week) so its is very tight for me as i have a daughter and partner.

  • If you're on benefits I'd serious reduce those amounts and work out what you can realistically afford to pay them based on how much you owe each company. For example a company you owe £1000 to is going to want more than a company you owe £100 to.

    Hello.

If you follow this link the National Debtline website, it allows you to downloan a budget calculator. This calculator will work out all your outgoings and then tell you how much you have left over, it will then if you enter the balances of your various credit debts tell you how much to offer on a pro-rata basis.

    It's a very useful tool.

Yes work out a budget. If you have less than 50% of the total minimum payments available then write to all your creditors telling them you are unemployed (I assume this is recent) and send a £1 token payment to them all this month. Then complete the budget as accurately as possible not forgetting yearly expences such as car tax, house insurance, tv licence. Then write to them with an offer of payment for the following month.

Is this unemployment likely to be long term? If it is you need to contact one of the free debt services like CCCS or citizens advice.

Also, visit the benefits forum and have a look to see if you might qualify for any other benefits.
Did you know most gas and electric suppliers have a social tarif that can give those on JSA a bill reduction. Ask your supplier for details, you may qualify and winters coming.
