£5 eye test at Boots

If you buy this months Boots magazine (free to Ad Card holders) there is a voucher in the back for an eye test in Boots for £5.
I've not had my eyes tested for a couple of years so booked up and had it done today. It was a 'full' test (I was worried it might just be a quick once over due to the price). I was impressed with the service and the test.
Also noticed that if you need glasses they have an offer 2 pairs for £79, I didn't need any so didn't pay too much attention.
Oh - and I saw a sign that said they do a free five minute hearing test too!

like Karlie says. Tesco do free eye tests.
My DF went in and got a free test and two pairs of glasses for £30. And they don't even look naff. They have some for £10 per pair, but if you're going to wear them in public, it's worth paying the extra £5.
They do try to sell their extras (anti glare, varifocal etc.), but if you don't want them, they didn't push too hard.0 -
If you go on the direct debit plan for lenses, which only has to be 1 box every 2 months, you get £50 off plus bogof, so if you buy a designer £129 pair you get £50 off making it £79 plus a free pair and if you buy some lenses they normally give you the lens consultation for free.0
