Hi,
Just seen this TV on Amazon - it's about £300 cheaper than anywhere else, and the first Samsung 3d LED TVs I've seen in the £800 bracket.
Ah. Just tried to post the link and cant. Sorry.
Go to Amazon and search for:
UE40D6510
Which is the model of the TV.
Can someone more experienced than me post the linky please?
HTH.

I'm afraid although it is a nice TV, it isn't 3D.0

It's described as "Samsung UE40D6510 40-inch Widescreen 3D Full HD 1080p LED Smart TV with Freeview"
They also talk about it being 3d in the product description.
I'm fairly sure it's a 3d TV.
Lots of other sources confirm it's 3d with a google search.
It's a 3d TV.0 -
they had a 40" 3d lcd for £699 at very, but it's sold out, they have the same as this one and a 46" for £899 tooMan who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

Good price but doesn't appear to come with glasses; not sure how much extra they will be - have seen other glasses at £100 a pair.

Edit - glasses are £59.99 a pair at play0 -

Those are all LCD, not LED. LCD's have been cheaper for a while, but it's the first LED one I've seen for this cheap.
LED TVs are much better, a much clearer picture and far, far thinner. You can mount them on walls much easier as they weigh far less too.0 -

LG 42" LED 3D TV - £599 on Amazon0 -
don't get too hung up on the led screen, an led is an lcd with a better backlight. the actual screens are identical.
led is no easier to mount than lcd, just a bit thinner, and weight wise there is hardly any difference at all. leds tv's will show a slightly better picture, but only if you use a better quality lead for the input, ie an led and an lcd both on a standard aerial would be indentical. to show off led you do need the more expensive hdmi leads etc.
also, if you are a sports fan, be wary of led or lcd, plasma are much better screens for fast moving images.0
