DNA Testing Advice ~Help Needed Please

:) Having taken the CSA to Court two weeks ago on behalf of my OH ( due to his disabilities he is unable to attend so I went as his rep)..the Courts have issued that a DNA be taken ( funded) after ALL these years..
(Many of you know we have been fighting this for 14 years since he became aware of the case against him, when he denied paternity from day one ..and it has taken THIS long to get THIS far, and to get the CSA to admit they were wrong and they should have offered him the DNA test at the start)

Immediately prior to the hearing, whilst in the waiting room, the CSA Court Rep advised me that the QC had not given her permission to have the test ( she is almost 21 now)..
The CSA Rep told me not to worry ( I was petrified as it was my first ever Court appearance)... and that it 'was something straightforward that she would deal with once the hearing was over''...

During the hearing I was advised by the Judges that my OH MUST have his DNA test completed by May 25th ( two weeks this Weds) and that the PWC and QC must have theirs completed by June 22nd...
The CSA Rep said that she would deal with the matter and send the relevent paperwork on...
It all went through so quickly I bearly had time to think ( in and out of Court in literally 5 mins!!)

Now..I believe they ONLY allow 2 weeks for the test to get to the Drs and for completion...but we ONLY have 16 days left til my OH's cut off date, and so far nothing has happened..no paperwork has been received, and we have heard no more....

Any advice ( PLEASE don't tell me to phone the CSA as I refuse to speak to anyone there, since they have harrassed/intimidated me so much over the years when I HAVE called)..as to what MAY be going on????
All help gratefully received...:)
Thank you in advance..;)

Is it through Cellmark? They have an online facility to check the stage of the DNA process. So if it is through them, then maybe your partner can contact them for the log in details. It should record details of dates when it was opened/when things are sent out/when they've been received etc

    :) Thanx Shell...
Have just called Cellmark and the application for the DNA test has not even been made yet...so THAT is why we are sitting twiddling our thumbs waiting..:(
There's me thinking it would all be straightforward, cut & dried...How wrong could I be....;)
Will wait and see what the next few days bring....
I MUST remember..this IS the CSA I am dealing with..nothing is EVER straightforward with them...;)

:) Just received a call from the CSA Court Rep...
The QC has not sent in her written permission for the DNA test to go ahead as yet...Hence the hold up:(

Just wanted to say that I'm glad this is 'working out' and that the test should (hopefully, I'm crossing my fingers) go ahead. Do let us know the outcome.

:) Just wondered...having spoken with the Court Rep (CSA) today..
I asked her about the time factor ( as stated in Court by the Judges that my OH's DNA test must be completed by May 25th) and she said that due to the QC having not replied yet...we ''won't worry too much about the time and can waiver it''...
Surely IF the 3 Judges decreed May 25th, then THAT is the date we should adhere to..and IF the QC has not replied yet ( she has had since January to send in her authority) HOW long WILL we be kept waiting for..or SHOULD I let them get away with holding over us???
Seems abit unfair really as we were originally told that IF she doesn't answer their letter requesting the test...or she refuses the test, then the case against my OH ''should be thrown out of Court''...
I always thought that what was stated in Court was pretty much set in stone ( yes ..I KNOW this is the CSA)...
Can they move goal posts like THIS???

To be honest we both just want an answer now....either way it is closure, as my OH has always said he will pay what is owed IF she is his..
It's SO wrong that it took SO long..so VERY wrong..but of course I will post the outcome..whatever the answer...:)
    Thanx for your comments....;)

Well done Didismump for staying strong and getting this far, I know you been to Hell and back! As many of us have!!!

As I believe it, if either the PWC or QC refuse or decline a DNA test then you have won your case, end of story..............................................

but only my opinion - what a shame that the QC doesn't want clarification of who her father is, I'm sure I would! As well as yourselves obviously

    :) Geez BDT1..
Like you...I've been to hell & back since initially posting on here..and IF it hadn't been for all of you on here I don't honestly think I would have known where to turn at times...:)
HOW soul destroying most members of the CSA are...
They harrass & intimidate beyond all measures..and all we ever wanted was clarification as to whether the QC IS his or not ( as you know)...

I feel SO sad for my OH as he would have been a GREAT Dad..but like a fool he did as he was asked by his ex,(PWC) and stayed away... thinking that it would be unfair pulling the baby ( as she was only 5 months old at that time) back and forth between 'Dads' and homes..
I never went this far indepth with our story before, but no sooner had she kicked my OH out, then she was in another relationship with the guy who she had been having an affair with all along..

It was ONLY when THAT finished that she admitted that she had been having the affair pretty much throughout their relationship ( and after my OH had already put HIS name on the QC's BC) and also at the time of conception and after...
Hence my OH denied paternity from day one of his case being initiated, back in 1997...

With no DNA test he will never know..and the only other factor he has to consider is a letter from his GP recently, which states quite clearly that as he has never fathered any other children in any of his previous relationships or since, that there is a good reason to doubt paternity...

If she (QC) doesn't want clarification..maybe she does not want her bubble burst...as I DID manage to speak to her a few years ago on a social network, after contacting everyone with the same name...and she was SO angry that 'He had never paid any money for her''...
So when I told her that we HAD paid maintenance for her for years as I have ALL the payment slips from when I used to go to the Bank weekly and pay in her money, she was totally gobsmacked..
She asked why she had not known this, and I told her that her Mum must have lied to her, and to ask her Mum for the truth..
She then asked me to tell her..so I did...and informed her that we had ONLY stopped paying since he had become ill and out of work..moreso since we had no idea IF he actually WAS her Father, since her Mum had admitted to an affair years ago...

From what the CSA rep said to me prior to the Court hearing..her Mum intends on back-pedalling on the story now..but the CSA rep still has no authorisation to allow the DNA tests to go ahead..
She ( the CSA Rep) told me that she will give it til the end of the week then contact the QC again via letter..If she AGAIN gets no reply she will phone the QC and try to get her to have it done..

How MANY times DOES she get asked/offered before they give in???..as I was originally told that IF she does not reply, then at the next Court hearing ( set for July 13th) the case WILL be thrown out...
Now it seems it MAY be another spun web...
Cos I'm NOT giving up til we have finally closed this case.. or got an answer and SOME sort of closure on this gaping wound....
    Any ideas???
