I need an Emergency Instant Loan...

I need £120. I will be able to pay it back completely in full on Thursday.

Can anyone recommend a company that will do it quickly without hassle for me (eg sending statements etc) that isn't QuickQuid or Wonga?

I know this goes against the ethos of this site...But I also know that it is probably going to be the best place to ask for advice of where to go.

And before anyone says so....Yes I have asked friends and family! And Yes I can definitely pay it back Thursday! :)

If you want to borrow £120, you'd have to pay back more than that to these sites. What you are looking for is "payday loan" companies and they have interest rates of 3000% to 4000% in many cases.

Do you not have a credit card that you can put it on? Or go to your bank and ask for a overdraft. Both of these options have better interest rates.

No they don't, that's just complete crap.

The interest rates you are quoting are equivalent APR rates. They are worked out by doing this

Suppose you borrow £100 for a month, and have to pay back £125, but kept on paying £125 per month for 12 months, and called the extra 11 payments "interest", you would end up paying 1,000's% in interest.

But you are never going to do that, are you? You are just going to borrow £100 and pay back £125, so all you will actually pay is 25% interest.

Or let's look at it another way, if you borrow £100 at an interest rate of 4000% you will pay back £4,100.

Now you show me the many cases of payday loan companies who will lend you £100 and expect you to pay back £4,100 at the end of the month.

OK, having said that I must also say that I would never advise anyone to take out a payday loan. If you are £100 down this month, and take the loan, you will start next month £125 down and need another loan.

  • Try Payday UK - http://www.paydayuk.co.uk/ Although if you have defaulted with other payday providers its possible all of them will reject you.

Is there any other way of funding whatever it is your need the £120 for? Might help if you say what it's for and you might find people have other ideas of getting/paying for it.

Can you sell/pawn something? Could you get an advance on wages? I know my employer in rare circumstances would pay an ad-hoc small advance (well, not advance but pay for hours worked when pay day isn't for another couple of weeks).

Depending on what the money is for, would you qualify for any sort of crisis loan/grant?

    Hope you get things sorted.

What's it for mate, and why will you be able to pay Thursday? I assume a pay check or something similar? I can possibly help you out, but obviously would like to know a bit more.
