ASDA's Dry Sausage Mix

Asda do a dry sausage mix (and falafel, burger, mince to name a few), and I've noticed the amount they put inside a packet has significantly gone done - so much so that if you put too much water in they go too soggy to use (I wonder if they haven't changed the quantity of water on the instructions).
They're really not cost effective anymore and I was wondering if anyone has a recipe or a cheaper more economical variety suitable for vegetarians/vegans - I'd prefer a recipe because then I can buy in bulk but let me know any ideas would not go a miss!
Thanks again guys!

There are plenty of recipes around for vegetarian sausages such as these TVP based ones.

These bean based ones are suitable for vegans too.

Glamorgan sausages are popular with many vegetarians too.

You should be able to recreate the recipe for the dry mix based on the ingredients listed on the packet of the mix you buy, it will take a little trial & error particularly when deciding which herbs & spices to add but it isn't that hard to recreate a recipe from just a list of ingredients.
A commercially produced mix is likely to contain rusk & may contain standard sausage seasonings to replicate a flavour such as lincolnshire or cumberland sausages etc... Both rusk & seasoning mixes can be purchased from any company selling sausagemaking ingredients such as:
