welcome to the thread Solstice_Twilight - as the others have said get the cleaner now if you can - they will have seen much worse than yours - and they will actually enjoy helping you get it ship-shape too.
Missus AKA (((hugs))) I hope you get things resolved with your family for your Grandad's sake - its not easy being in the middle either.
pigpen (((hugs))) cos I think you really need one right now - I know you dont like to play silly games with Ex but maybe you need to start refusing to change when he wants to or when he says he will take the children after school or whatever -they are not accessories and its time he realised he cant play with their lives like this - please please get it written down, go to your solicitor and take him to court and get a proper access order in place - you can not go like this. what happens when Dot arrives he will ruin all your plans then too.
Cat_smith hope you have found your ring
msgnomey fingers crossed for you - hope your interview has gone ok
Pixie CAB will keep you right - get appointment with them and explain everything and take as much paperwork with you as you can - Penelope Penguin will maybe be able to help you if you pm her -she is lovely and works for CAB- she might point you in the right direction. I hadnt realised the boyfriend lived there as well - for goodness sake get them out of their pit and give them a list to do and their room should be spotless - cleaned to your standards not theirs - it is your house so they live by your rulues - sorry I sound harsh but it really bugs see to see so many Mums struggling when teenagers could do so much to help. Sorry I cant help with Ds but I am sure the GP wiil do something - did DS have an incident that has made him like this?
happier days hope they soon get you sorted and in the meantime the meds help
outofmoney try dot2dot (see post 1) - pick a chair - bedside table something and get started - it will all come together just stop looking at the room as a whole just look at one tiny peice
Mumto5 poor wee man but he is going to get the best treatment and they will get him sorted
(((hugs))) spoons and get well vibes for anybody I have missed.
had a busy morning shopping and things and have to be ready to go out about 4.45 so dont want to fall asleep and end up rushing.
we avoided the rain and now it is windy but sunny - might try and get another washing out.

Hi guys
The house hasn't been touched for nearly a week, except kitchen S&S and DW/WM, it's grotty and completely embarrassing lol given my job I'm no advert
still nowt a good couple of hours wont fix.
Been busy with work and then spare time been round OH's doing his and went to the metro centre on /tuesday avo with DD1...6 hrs spent wandering around looking for something for her first quoff (sp?) party ended up back in the first shop we went into *tuts*
Also been having fun with the council and councillor re: the house....have now got a housing officer coming to see me next Tuesday to discuss "my housing issues" which I'm pleased about seeing as I've asked to be rehoused and given them an address of an empty property....I sooooooo hope they let me have it, I am kicking up a stink about the house but in a nice way so fingers crossed.
Hope everyone's hunky dory *mwah*
valli The Blue suede ones are gorgeous.
Dusty hugs for you and your friend, hope things turn out ok xx

Toots I hope so, I've been trying to come to terms with the M.E diagnosis at the beginning of the year (and failing miserably) and now the GP thinks that some of my symptoms now indicate that its more likely to be something neuro, so more test:sad:
Well I havent really moved off the couch since I last posted other than to get coffee and make a fishfinger buttie:drool: Although I have collected the washing from our bedroom and dusted, so I may finish this coffee and then go change the bedding and hoover. At least then I'll feel like I've achieved something."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. TOOTS~ while I remember there is a shop opened up in Glasgow that sells Cremola foam:D

Well, it doesn't look like KH is coming so I best go feed the gremlins... obviously he has found something far more important than the children!... AGAIN!!
I doubt they'll be very happy!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I eventually moved my back side and got the bedroom done as well as stripping and making DS bed as well so now I have about 6 WM loads to do tomorrow.
Off to walk dog with OH before going to sister to drop Nephews birthday present in."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k.
