To be honest I think I have OCD as If I have a list it HAS to be all done. I am always thinking about cleaning/tidying the house but health gets the better of me, however I thought by following this thread I could get it done a little at a time rather than a mad deep clean every now and then. Plus cleaning can become so mundane that habits form and things get forgotten. I could not believe how dirty my cat flap was!!!

Monday - Kitchen and dining room
Level Two
Clean oven and hob
Wash windows and sills
Extras

Thoroughly clean the cupboard under the sink!
Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
Tuesday - Bathroom and study!!
Level One
Clear and declutter the desk of doom!! lol
Declutter the floors and sofas!
Level Two
Vacuum floors
dust the fluff away
Level Three
Scrub the bath, shower, basins and loos
Scrub down the tiles
Extras
Clean the windows and mirrors
defrag the pc
Clean out the vacuum cleaner.. wash the filters etc make sure all are dry before rebuilding!

5. write away with change of name - work in progress
7. hand in notice to landlord once competed on house
11. sort out power of attorney
13. wrap presents for nephew birthday
21. book dentist before OH goes back to sea
22. write a list of all furtniture we need and cost up best options. NB sofa done - do this on monday as will get me organised properly for the move - work in progress
24. buy ladders (to get into loft)
25. get quote for deep cleaning this house when we leave
26. get quote for carpet cleaning rented house
27. back up all my spreadsheets onto both desktops and OH netbook in case my laptop goes belly up - MUST DO THIS AS MY LAPTOP GETTING VERY SLUGGISH
28. get pics of edinburgh and sydney framed.
29. take edinburgh prints with me this weekend.
30. sort out electrical box before we move
36. get up to date on filing
37. clear my shredding pile - wip

Degunge the fridge!

Poor Squeak has a nasty sore bottom today.. She screamed the house down when I cleaned her and put cream on and screamed more when I sat her back on it.. I spen the last 2 hours with her standing on my lap or holding her without putting pressure on her bum.. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.

Have cleaned kitchen and bathroom tonight so quite pleased at that.

Sun was on windows earlier - they looked dirty so will try and do those this week.

Going to bed as tired out.

awh poor squeak hope the cream does the job and she is better tomorrow.

have spent about an hour and a half shredding some old stuff from my briefcase (its on my list!) - was old letters and sentimental stuff but its done now.

we had another minor thunder rumble and rain but calm again and very mild.
