What do you have listed on Ebay, and is it going to sell?

Hi,
I keep reading that people have listed their bits and bobs on Ebay, and how many bids and watchers they have but not actually what the item is (in general terms)
I though it would be helpful to know what others are selling to give us some idea of popular items (and the no so popular!)
To kick this off: I recently sold my Jamie Oliver potato masher -14 bids, DD's Lelli Kelly sandles - 6 bids, but I have had no luck with a pair of mens shoes.
I have a cupboard full of 'junk' but maybe I could make more by Ebaying.
Thanks Sx

I have 28 items listed on ebay at the minute.
I mostly sell my childrens clothes........ones that they have grew out of, not ones they are actually wearing:rotfl::rotfl:
It is amazing the amount of stuff i have sold on ebay for more than i have paid for it. Childrens designer clothes sell really well like lelli kellys, next clothes, debenhams kids clothes.
Have also sold a few golf bits for OH which have went well.
Generally speaking anything branded and in good condition tends to sell well.
I dont bother trying to sell clothes from primark etc as its not worth it.
I am currently selling my old broken laptop starting at 99p and it has 8 watchers already with 6 days to go.
Also if you are selling clothes make sure you sell them at the right time of year. Today i have listed all summer stuff as there is not point trying to sell jumpers etcCredit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -
I've got 17 items on there atm finishing tonite. 10 are going to sell so far. I have 35 bids in total. 2 items have no watchers at all. All the others varying watchers 1-15.
Clothes are proving popular (shorts, trousers, thin tops), 1 mans shirt is selling really well and with 9 watchers!, craft making item I have on there is hopless, my jewellery has up to 14 watchers. Whatever I don't sell I will send it on to charity.Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.
2011 wins £12,2922012 wins ...Thank you to all who post on here!!!! :A0 -
Hi geri,
I paid £12 for it and sold for £7 with £4 p&p which will cover the postage and a bit left over. I didn't get all my money back but it's better than it sitting in the drawer for years.0 -
2 vine glasses quite nice but smokey glass and my previous boss bought them for me and I hated her. 2nd time I list them 3 wathers since Saturday no bid. Ends Sunday.
Best thing I sold was a very old white cheap IKEA stoarage unit, sold it to someone in London for £48 (paid £20 8 yeaars previsouly when new) she even paid carriage too. Madness.
Another thing was a horrid silver photo frame we got for our wedding, £50 bough a nice stool for our kitchen instead. Not into clutter so use Ebay a lot.Moved to Denmark for FIRE by Aug 2025 “May your decisions reflect your hopes not your fears”
