Sky Offer For Existing Customers

Those nice people at Sky sent me a leaflet at the back end of last week offering me a half price upgrade to Sky Movies and Sky Sports for 3 months. I'm on the 3 mix £21 a month package and with my two little ones don't get to sit down long enough to watch any films but thought I'd chance my arm on half price Sky Sports only for 3 months.

Rang the number and asked the chappie (not long to wait either) whether this was possible and he explained that the offer was for the Sky World package (i.e. everything). He rattled away on his keyboard for a couple of minutes and then came back and offered me a £10.50 credit on my account to balance out for half price Sport only.

This effectively means I'm paying £29 a month for the next 3 months and I'm getting Sports AND Movies - bargain !!!

At last I can catch up on the American Football :j :j :j

if they say no you can't have it because the letter is not on your account, ask to speak to their supervisor and they will let you have it

They gave me Sky+ for £49 free install on a £25 a month package when I called up to cancel!

Not bad I suppose. Never had + quite looking forrward to it!

i rang to cancel, thy say they stopped offers 6 weeks ago and let me cancel.... will ring them back just before my 30 days are up and se if i get any further. Boy was i upset i didnt get offered anything at all.....

I'm on the verge of cancelling. I've got the Sky+ full package and it's setting me back about £43 a month!

The Sky+ hardware is so good it's that in itself that i'd miss. It might just be cheaper for me to get a DVD HDD recorder though.

haynrich call them back there is always an offer going on. Just remember, be polite to them on the phone! I was just dam annoyed that I never tried my luck for a free sky+ box... damit!

complained to sky by sending email to murdoch about bad customer service and other problems.got phonecall from murdochs pa who has given me sky + free and its being installed on saturday.

Sky + is great. It has been getting a lot of stick on Watchdog but if it works it is one of the best things out. We couldn't be without it now.

I got a sky package of everything except the movies including MUTV the best channel on sky for £27.00 a month for 12 months because they cocked up some how.

What email addy did you use? I tried to send email to him last month and it was returned unknown address
