Hi I am looking for a good, easy to use sat nav, and also dvd players which my kids can use in the car. Am I better buying a twin dvd player or one each for the kids? Also is Tom Tom still the best for sat navs?
thanks in advance x

Some options, my preference is for the GO Live versions. Some european countries have banned the use of safety camera alerts. If you opt for a Live version, you can untick most of the European updates, and only update any if needed. The hard cases are worth considering
TomTom XL IQ (XL2 V4) - Europe, though check if you will need or want this
Traffic-ready
The new TomTom XL V2 devices can offer the latest and most up- to-date traffic information with an optional RDS-TMC traffic receiver, available for purchase as an accessory.

TomTom High Definition Traffic™
According to recent research, 49% of Britons say that traffic jams are the most frustrating and stressful part of their day*. The TomTom GO 750 LIVE models automatically connect to TomTom’s exclusive High Definition (HD) Traffic service for the most accurate and detailed live traffic information, which is updated every three minutes. If the measured traffic conditions differ from the expected traffic flow, the TomTom GO 750 LIVE will automatically calculate a better, alternative route if one is available. The expected time of arrival will also be adjusted accordingly.

The 950 Live also has the above HD Traffic Service

The 1005 is the latest version and discounts are probably thin on the ground at the moment, also check for better prices than those shown from the links

As has been said above, TT 750 Live. Another one which seems to get favorable reviews is the Garmin 2350LT/2360LT for a similar price.
