hi

i not sure this is the right place? but i'll have a go anyway

I have just viewed my credit file because i keep getting refused credit

Back in 2007 a firm wanted to buy me out of my mobile contract and for some reason sent me out 4 sim cards.
Bills started coming in, and i was from the start trying to sort it out. Eventually after taking advice orange seemed to take notice of me and someone in head office sorted it out.
Sim cards where sent back.I owed them nothing.

Now just looked at my credit file and they have added a default, is this affecting my credit, if so can it be taken of.
Everthing else on my file is fine.

many thanks
jewls

The credit report usually contains the contact details of companies contributing to the report; you should firstly write to the company concerned to raise the issue with them. If they have no good reason for their entries and refuse to correct them then refer the matter to the FOS.
