National Insurance Payments

Please help. I am due for retirement from the military and was wondering whether or not I pay National Insurance on my Forces pension? My pension would be £7, 862 p.a. and I will be 45 at that time.
Hope you can help.

Therefore, if I get a new job does this mean my NI cointributions will only come from my new salary?0

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Agreed from what it sounds.0

Looks correct, NI is only payable on income from work, employed or self-employed.0
