Evening
Im redeeming my mortgage in a couple of weeks as im moving house and porting it to a new property. When I applied to do this I was told I owed just over 115k. I got my statement today and it seems I need to come up with £116800!! Im guessing this must be fees from when I first took it out.
Can I pay the 115k back using the sale and the extra £1600 on a credit card? I need the cash made from my sale to clear a loan.
Thanks!

Unlikely. You will be paying any shortfall to your solicitor in time for exchange of contracts. I suggest you speak to them.Evening
