Help!
We are in rented accom and are hopefully moving in a month. Last night my DD1 sneaked a choc buttercream cupcake upstairs and dropped it all over the white carpet. After the initial panic I zapped it with the 1001 carpet stuff but there is still a few nasty looking stains. I'm sure that the wise money savers out there can advise on the best stuff to use.
If it helps the butter cream was made of butter, icing sugar and lots of cocoa powder.
I really can't afford to hire a rug doctor but may have to to preserve my hefty deposit:eek:

For chocolate stains on carpets:mix a strong solution of biological laundry detergent and brush with a soft nailbrush in the direction of the pile.Dab with clean water to remove soap.(From Kim and Aggie)
