Jobs Fairs: Does This Annoy You Too?

Spot on! Its tricky... I wouldn't advise anyone to bother as like you say they are filled up with college and training opportunities, and perhaps the local newspaper/job website and of course usually jobcentre plus (it might seem logical at first but really what are they doing there?) This said there is always the chance of giving an employer a brilliant impression which could help you get the job - although rarely will an interview panel member be doing exhibitions at jobfairs. From my experience they just send any clown to "hold the fort" advertising their business. It could be admin staff, a cleaner, etc.
