Am Bankrupt: heard nothing...good or bad news?

I was made bankrupt on 21st April this year and since then a few things have happened but in the main not everything I expected so do I chase it up or keep quiet?

THe usual accounts closed and everything being handled by the Official Receiver happened.

The house valuation also was in my favour - -ve equity - and so I paid the 200+ to keep the house...and I'm on the Nil Tax (NT) code and I am paying the money to a firm of solicitor's in Devon assigned by the OR...but....

I had a telephone confirmation that the house wsa mine and they'd be writing to me about my assets...that was in June and I have heard nothing since!!!

Do I chase it up or keep quiet? I am expecting a letter through the door at any time, but come April next year when the bankruptcy is discharged, if they haven't been for my assets, have they missed their trick or does it fall in the extra two yrs beyond the discharge that they may grab gear?

What are other ppl's experience? I am 8 mths into bankruptcy now and tbg apart from the first 6 wks not a lot has happened....

Have you checked that you haven't been discharged already? Forgotten the url but you can check online.
  • I'm still on the NT rate tho...so surely I still am bankrupt!
