Hi,
Just looking to take out a further advance with Nationwide. I am employed, but my wife is self employed.
Does anyone know if they will they accept proof of income from her in the form of self assessment tax returns? She is a low earner and so we don't use an accountant.
Thanks all.

Do you need her income to be take into account?
The criteria on the intermediary site says they require an Accountant's Certificate for a new mortgage application, however;-If your client is an existing Nationwide borrower and cannot meet the required criteria, please contact your service centre to see if the application can be referred to our senior underwriters

The Sa302 tax form should be ok if she is self employed. Otherwise it's would have to be audited accounts.0
