Ok so I know how I got into debt,

the credit card I used to pay uni fees thinking that I could pay them off but inevitably bought silly things on it, tesco card is basically the same and the overdraft is money my sister begged to borrow but has never paid back.

Where should I start with the repayments? I was thinking of moving the big credit card to a 0% on balance transfers card if I can while I chip away at it, is this a good idea?

Do you really spend £80 per month on your mobile?

If you have £531 left each month, you could pay the Tesco card off straight away and still make an overpayment on your Bank of Scotland card.

The question is do you really have £531 left per month??
I guess you dont so you need to start a spending diary to see where your £££'s go.
Anything you could ebay/car boot to pay off the small credit card?
Tell your sister you want something towards the OD even if it's only £5 a month.

I don't know how much I have left at the end of the month really because I've just moved house so I'm basing the bills on the previous tenants estimates of what they paid with the same provider.

£80 a month on the mobile is 2 mobiles and a pager, i always need to be contactable in case a new heart comes up so I have a phone on 2 networks (one 02, one orange).

I expect I'll have less after I factor in costs of meals on wheels type things and carers costs but I'll not know how much they are until social services get back to me on it.

If they're contacting you, can't you make at least one of them a pay as you go phone?
