  • Just to back up all the good stuff people have said about Fragrance direct, and some more hints!

Ordered Davidoff Cool Water yesterday morning and it arrived this morning! Also, I am entitled to Boots staff discount but even with discount and their current save 1/3 offer, a 50ml bottle was £18.37 - the 100ml on FD was £25.50 plus £1.95 P&P - and the delivery was so quick! Also got a similar bargain with Ralph Lauren Romance - £39.00 (exc discount) in Boots for 50ml, FD price was £40.50 plus £1.95 P&P for 100ml.

Word of caution, though - the £1.95 P&P option (Royal Mail) is only available on orders under £50, so I did two separate transactions to ensure the postage costs didn't rocket! They offer a scale of discount on more expensive orders eg1/2/3% but, unless you're spending a fortune, this may be a cheaper way of getting the items you want.

Also, although some of their products are testers, these are clearly indicated and the ones I received today were boxed and cellophane wrapped.

I think there was an option to deliver elsewhere as well, though I had them delivered to the house.

    ernestjack or others,

Which online retailers allow me to have the items delivered to work so the wife doesn't see them before the 25th?
I had my order sent to my home address, but according to their help section you can have your order sent to your work address too... http://www.extrascents.com/help/shipping.php#work
  • TJ Hughes is also worth a look, though the range isn't as great. Check the website: http://www.tjhughes.co.uk
  • If anyone like me loves Lancome Tresor https://www.directcosmetics.co.uk have the 50ml size for an incredible £15.99. I`m annoyed I`ve just paid £19.99 for the 30ml and I thought that was cheap. I`ve just bought a nice designer perfume mini set in Wilkinson`s for £12.95 (I like the small sizes for holidays) it has Valentino, Moschino, Sonia Rykell, Paul Smith and another I`ve forgotten. If you want descriptions and reviews of perfumes try https://www.basenotes.net

I've just ordered for the second time. The first time was a few years ago and ordered some Issey aftershave for me. Wasn't too sure if it was genuine to be honest although i ordered it blind cos i'd never smelt it before. Didn't smell as nice as people said it was so it could just be me not liking it too much

Should have the second order through in a day or so, so i'll let you know.
  • I've ordered a few testers off of ebay really cheap, also it's worth taking a look on the us ebay full of bargain perfumes which are usually bigger size bottles

Have placed an order with https://www.directcosmetics.co.uk and saved £24 I also went through greasypalm as they are giving 5% cashback. I use them if Quidco don't deal with a company I want to shop with.
