Anyone know if we need a solicitor to do this? Thanks.

I'm not a lawyer, but if it is a straight swap of one name for a different one, I don't see why you would need a solicitor - just copy the original wording and insert the new names, get it signed, dated and witnessed properly and destroy the old one.
BUT it is probably in your best interests to go to a solicitor to get a new will drawn up, because they can review all your interests, taking into account anything that has changed in your family circumstances and in the tax laws, and make sure that the new will is up to date and suitable for your situation. It might turn out to be a false economy otherwise.0
