Problems with Survey Sites

After advice from fellow MSE's I signed up to 4 survey sites:
Cint (nice low checkout and high paying surveys but infrequent)
Surveyhead (Medium payout and frequent middle / low paying surveys)
Vivatic (Low / medium payout, frequent surveys but infrequent qualification)
One Poll (Frankly a bit rubbish. Low paying, infrequent surveys. High payout and broken iPhone app)
I've had cause to email Surveyhead twice; once for only paying £3.03 for registering when the said £3.50 on their website - they told me that as an American company they pay $5 but the exchange rate had changed. I replied to say that they should update their website then because it doesn't say $5 dollars it says (and still does) £3.50. They agreed to credit me the extra 0.47p (still waiting)
Then today I completed a survey for 0.45p and they haven't added it to by credit list, even as a pending credit
Waiting for a reply on this one.
Then I had to email cint today for not crediting two payments, one of £1.44 and another of £2.24.
I'm glad I keep a spreadsheet deatiling when I took the last survey, the topic and the amount as it makes it much easier to chase these payments.
But my question is, is anyone else having trouble like this? Is it par for the course? Tips on doing better / getting the most from the sites...

For Onepoll the best advice I ever got was to log in frequently, even just leaving the page open and refreshing - you will be surprised how frequently surveys come and go - I think there must be 5-6 a day sometimes.
I find Surveyhead a bit "flakey". Not everything works very well and again, loggin in sometimes can help you get more surveys.
Cint I find fairly good - their website is a bit sparce tho isn't it?!
Vivatic I have not actually tried but appears they are worthwhile.
If you can handle a few screenouts then I would definitely recommend Valued Opinions and Global Test Market - I've made over £100 on each of them in just over a year and are my highest earners!0 -
Thanks nehpets81 - I think I did sign up to Valued Opinions, but didn't really pursue it - survey overload I think!
