Just saw an advert for Estae Agent jobs. Is there any point in me applying seeing as I'm bankrupt? Anybody got any experience? Thanks, I don't drive either, never wanted to, so I suppose it's quite hopeless! lol

Although I detest estate agents, why can't you become one when bankrupt?0

Can't see any reason why BR would prevent that work, but not being able to drive would be an issue. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Just found this, appears you can work for an esate agent if bankrupt, but not have your own estate agent company:

Just apply for it and see how you get on. No harm in trying. Estate agent is only one step up from a traffic warden though

Hi Rabb,
I work in financial services and went BR in Nov 2008, before I did this due to my hubby health issue's I looked into this because I was told that you cann;t work in FS if you are BR, you can if you are not personnally authorised by FSA like a mortgage advisor or run and estate agent, so you should be ok, they may not even ask good luck, a very stressful business to be in at the mo0
