finding out a baby's sex from scan

which of you where having baby no. 1?
which of you were having subsequent babies?
The offer of disclosing the sex was with my 2nd baby although to be fair to the hospital, I was there every week for 3 months so the doctors/registrars/midwives/receptionists got to recognise me so that may have contributed to their willingness to tell me.0 -
So out of the people who have been offered the information about the sex of the baby even though the hospital doesn't advocate it.....
which of you where having baby no. 1?
which of you were having subsequent babies?
The reason I say this is because it appears that there is an increased chance of being told if it is NOT the first baby. In that case the private scan is more of a likely option for first pregnancies.
It was my second, but we were also there often0 -
