... know if Boots will refund

Options
Bought an umbrella from Boots during a downpour 8 weeks ago. Although it cost £15 its crap to get up and down but its not faulty as such. Is it worth my while trying to get a refund? For anyone else about to purchase, TK Maxx are doing great ones for £5.99 - ok so it was after I saw these that I thought about getting a refund ;)

i bought a game for my daughter, and although wasn't faulty was a bit naff, they gave me a refund no problem.
  • I brought one of their own brand dance mats for my daughter last year but after 3 or 4 uses the wiring came loose and we were unable to get any sound out of it. I took it back to Boots and explained the problem saying I didn't consider it to be 'fit for purpose' and they refunded me immeadiatly in the form of a gift voucher as I didn't have the original receipt, just as well really because I brought it half price and they refunded me full price!
Most things in life are easy it's just doing them well that's difficult !!!!!!!!!! :D:D
