My partner borrowed £200 from Wonga.com and it was paid back £123 and £118 on the 1st and 30th of March then later (unbeknownst to us) another £200 was payed into the account by Wonga.com resulting in a charge on the 28th of April for £560.
also on the 28th of April at 5.30 and 5.33am I received 2 emails from Wonga.com, The first email...
Dear <my name>
Thank you for making an application at Wonga.com. Please find some important documents attached which you should read:.....
If your loan is approved, you will make one repayment of £533.48 on the promise date.....
2nd email...
Hi and thanks for applying for a Wonga loan. We hate saying no, but unfortunately we can't approve this particular application....
Thank-god for that!!
I did not apply for a loan at 5.30 in the morning unless I was sleep loan applicating again...
Aswell as this it seems someone-ga has given my details to a company called PayDay who have supplied me with an un-requested loan (how nice) and who have started taking back the money in much smaller (£75) chunks.
Calling PayDay results in them asking my name and DOB then hanging up.
Thanks for listening
My bank won't....

Do you think that someone has been applying for loans in your name, without your permission?
It would be a good idea to look through your credit history to see what else is there that you don't know about.
Try https://www.creditexpert.com for example (you can get a free trial period).
I would contact Wonga about the second £200 loan and ask to see the full details because you dispute it as fraudulant. See what they say?
The fact that you suddenly had £200 appear in your account didn't surprise you, no? Did you not wonder where it came from and then contact wonga as soon as you found out??
It's only a game

You are wrong,,£500 could appear in people accounts and they will not realise..i would not...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
