Regent Leisure Park, Morecambe

Has anyone been to this park, I cant seem to find any reviews on it, really keen to book as they have £75 off at the moment which finishes at 9.00am tomorrow. I would get a Mon-Fri break for around £130 in July which seems to good to be true? So if anyone can help it would be really appreciated.

Hi, i have not been for years but used to be popular with a good club house, not far from town & beach, one thing i will say is make sure you have lots of locks if you have a touring caravan because a lot of caravans get stolen as there are a lot of travellers live in morecambe & have done for years, have you been on tripadvisor?

I went to morecambe last year as i'm from lancaster originally & to be fair it's a dump & not a lot to do, if you do go, go to lancaster 10 mins away, lots to do & historic:)

I'm originally from Lancaster too (and Morecambe).
Morecambe's alright for a few days. It's a bit like the town that time forgot.
Just spend most of your time on the prom looking outwards. The scenery is stunning, and a walk along the prom either to Heysham or the other way to Bare or Hest Bank is a must do.
Eric Morecambe's statue on the prom is the 2nd most photographed statue in UK (after Nelson's Column).
Opposite the statue is the Tivoli pub. It's full of salt of the earth bods, many of whom went to Morecambe for a week and never went home - seriously! Enter as a stranger and leave as a friend!
Regent Caravan Park is opposite Morecambe Football Club (The Shrimps), and another good reason to visit during the season.
If you go to Lancaster (and you should) it's a one-way system all round town, and parking can be a nightmare.
Instead of driving take the train. The station is just off the prom opposite the famous art deco Midland Hotel. Takes 15 minutes and Lancaster Castle train station is 5 minute walk to town. It's about £3 return. Lancaster is a former market town with loads of history, and nooks and crannies. It's now a bustling university city.

We stayed at Westgate Caravan Park (next to the Regent) last year. We had no problems with security, and I'm sure that whatever problems the Regent may of had in the past will have been sorted out.

just back from it, lovely caravan and well kept greenery and gardens, staff were very helpful and welcoming, pool and sauna very clean, loved it

morecambe is quiet but a lovely town, the tern project along the sea front, bowling alley, lovely staff in there too, cinema

i was genuinely suprised by how lovely morecambe was, lancaster is very picturesque also, plenty to see and do there

edit - forgot to mention the fantastic 'shrimp' pub, a toby carvery in westgate, food and staff divine, as was the lovely lady in the library who helped us find the regent in the first place, definately go back soon
