    Mine's delivered by Royal Mail.

I am going to grow them on and then plant them in our front garden

How much gap shall I leave between each when I plant them? I googled it but could not find the answer, some said 8" to 12" apart, but that's bulb. Is that the same for mini plants. Sorry I don't know much about flowers.

Mine's haven't got any flower yet.

3 boxes of begonias here, too. Red/pink. Looking very healthy. Not bad for £2.51. I was expecting/hoping for a selection, but I've now decided to use these in hanging hessian bags, so having the same type will probably give a much better show.

Thanks for the heads up on this :)

eta, I've just planted some of them out, and they really are good quality plants. I'm very pleased.

Try growing them on in the cardboard/coconuts pots that you can get in the 99p/ pound shop. They are sold in packs of 30(ish). The roots will come through when they are ready to go into the ground. I stand mine in my empty pots/planters (all close together butting up to each other) that are waiting for the bigger plants with a little compost in the bottom.

That way the roots have something to cling to. Water daily. If its cold at night just put a carrier bag over the top. Keeps them nice & snug and acts like a propagator. You can also stand them on the ground or in the garden bed if you have one. But keep them as sheltered or protected as you can.

When they are fully grown plant them as per the instructions you have. good luck.

Mini plants are just like babies. The just need that extra bit of care until they are old enough to play outside by themselves :)

3 packs of begonias just arrived by Royal Mail - VERY well packed and in a darn sight better condition that the begonias I bought from Gardening Direct!!! B***** shower that lot - they won't refund any money to me even though I've only got around 15 useable plugs instead of 56.

I've never especially liked this type of begonia but, for less than £3, I can learn to appreciate them. I will pot on and eventually use along the border edges about 6" apart.
